Pugmill Systems, Inc.
The Davis Pugmill was designed in 1957 to mix stabilized base materials for road building. It is a tough dependable mixer that achieves a good mix at a low operating cost. Each paddle shaft is independently driven by its own motor and gear reducer, using no timing gears.
Pugmill Systems, Inc. offers pugmill mixers from 100 to 1500TPH. We can design and manufacture mixing plants complete with belt feeders, screw feeders, cement silos, belt scales and proportioning systems, water systems, conveyors, control houses, and diesel-electric generators.
We have many pugmill mixers at work in these applications:
Stabilized base mixing for roads, Cement Treated Base (CTB)
Hazardous waste stabilization / encapsulation
Lime addition at asphalt plants
Cold emulsified asphalt mixing (Cold Mix)
Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC)
Flowable backfill
